It's easy:
1) Post here in the FLmetal.com forum
This is where all the fun leading up to the All-Star Jam is going to take place with the YOU NEED TO KNOW - the WHO - WHAT - WHEN - WHERE - & HOW. If you or your people DO NOT read this thread, they won't know what the hell is going on (who are these weirdo's anyway?)
2) Get it together man!!!
If you WANT TO PLAY, then you need to GET IT TOGETHER...
For example:
If your BAND wants to play a cover song, that's fantastic... however, keep in mind that the whole point of an ALL-STAR JAM is to include friends and band members who aren't necessarily in your band. The more the merrier kind of thing. If you are an INDIVIDUAL who wants to play, then it's really up to you to get in touch with others who are participating or want to.
3) Don't half-ass it...
I've actually heard people COMPLAIN that the people on-stage were in some sort of "clique" (maybe the mysterious "metal brotherhood" ?). This is only partially true. The people that have played in the past are (for the most part) PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS who are serious, reliable, and would never walk on-stage without being fully prepared. Especially when it comes to covering their favorite songs. This includes organizing your ALL-STAR band members, and also REHEARSING.
4) Let me know what's going on
Just PM me, or send an email to matt@page12.com to let me know what you are up to, and keep in touch as things progress. Keep in mind that organizing these events is a somewhat FLUID situation, so... you've been warned.

This is pretty cool, I'd love to participate. I just don't know if I'd really have the time though..
The Misfits set sounds awesome! I love the Danzig era Misfits but I still like the Michael Graves era too though.

You are only a hog if there were a bunch of guitarists calmoring for the jam. So far, so good, so what! <<shrugs>>
Still need a second guitar amp for the back line. Don't make me bring my Fender M-80 solid state half stack in addition to my Engl Powerball.

I wont mind if it spills over into the whole album,,, really its okay!
This will be our Fourth Party for our Birthday/Anniversary but most important is this will be our Third anniversary! Matt and I have been married almost three years and were married on the third, getting it?!
This year will be the most special one to me, three means alot AND hopefully it will mean the year of The Wagners!!!!!!! We could use it!
I cant wait to see everyone play, this is going to be so great!!!!!

Sorry, kinda new to this whole jamming thingy.. I can do whatever song(s) you want to do..I'll download them and go over them a few hundred times. Let me know when and where you want to jam before hand. I'll be there. |
